How it works
Two transactions, thirty seconds apart.
Registration is deliberately not a single click. The pause between the two steps is what stops anyone reading your name out of the mempool and buying it before you do.

You send a hash of the name, not the name. Nobody watching the chain can tell what you are buying.

Wait 30 seconds
The commitment ages. Buying several names at once puts them all through this one wait rather than one each.

Register
You reveal the name and pay. It mints to your wallet as an ERC-721 for the term you chose.
Names are rented, not sold outright. A term runs one to five years, renewal is open to anyone, and a lapsed name is held for 90 days before anyone else can take it.

Shorter names cost more.
Priced per year in USDC, which is the gas token on Arc, so there is no conversion, no oracle and no second asset to hold. What you see is what leaves your wallet.

ARCMAINNET launch pricing: every name is half its standard rate until Arc's public mainnet launch in mid September. The struck-through figure is the standard price from launch, not a past one. Nothing to enter, and the amount you pay is quoted from the contract at checkout.
A name coming out of grace carries a temporary surcharge that decays to zero over 21 days, so bots cannot sweep every expiring name at floor price the moment it frees up.
